Customers holding Lurevela barefoot shoes - more comfort than ever before Customers holding Lurevela barefoot shoes - more comfort than ever before

Zero Drop

Our shoes have a completely flat sole, with no heel elevation and no artificial lift. That supports a natural posture and can help relieve long-term stress on your knees, hips and back.

Wide Toe Box

Your toes need space, and that is exactly what they get. The wide toe box lets your foot spread naturally instead of being squeezed, for real comfort all day.

Ultra Thin Sole

Less sole, more feeling. You sense the ground under your feet for a true barefoot experience, more awareness while walking and stronger foot muscles.

Flexible Movement

The highly flexible build gives your feet complete freedom of movement. Your gait stays natural: light, healthy and free.

Frequently asked questions

Does it have arch support?

Not in the way conventional shoes do, and that is deliberate.

Lurevela shoes use a thin, flexible sole with no raised heel and no rigid arch block. Instead of holding your arch in a fixed shape, the shoe lets the muscles in your foot carry the load themselves, which is what allows them to get stronger rather than more dependent.

If you are coming from shoes with firm support, build up over a week or two rather than switching overnight.

What is the width of the shoes?

Every pair has a naturally wide toe box, so your toes have room to spread out instead of being pressed together.

That avoids pressure points across the front of the foot and makes them suitable for a wide range of foot shapes, including feet that find ordinary shoes too narrow.

Do I have to wear socks with them?

Entirely up to you. The elastic upper sits close to the foot, so they are comfortable either way.

Barefoot or with a thin sock both work well. Thick sports socks can make the fit tighter than intended.

What materials are used?

The upper is a light, elastic synthetic fibre that stretches with the foot and lets air through, which keeps your feet dry and cool.

Underneath sits a closed rubber sole that grips well and protects the sole of your foot from hot ground, stones and sharp objects, while staying thin enough to feel what you are walking on.

Materials vary slightly by model. If you want to know what a specific pair uses, our support team is happy to tell you.

Are these good for people with plantar fasciitis?

Some people find a wide toe box and a flexible sole more comfortable than a narrow, stiff shoe, and we hear that from customers dealing with foot complaints such as hallux valgus or claw toes.

We want to be straight with you though. Every case is different and a shoe is not a treatment.

If you have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis or you are in ongoing pain, please speak to a doctor or podiatrist before changing your footwear.

Are these recommended for flat feet?

Barefoot shoes let the muscles in your foot do the work instead of resting on a fixed support, and plenty of people with flatter feet get on well with that.

Build up gradually rather than wearing them all day from the start. If you need extra support in the meantime, an insole can always be added.

If a specialist has prescribed particular footwear for you, follow their advice first.

What is the shipping timeframe?

We prepare and dispatch your order within 1 to 2 business days.

Delivery then takes 5 to 12 business days, depending on where you are.

You will receive tracking information as soon as your parcel is on its way, and you can follow it any time on our Track Your Order page. Standard shipping is free.

Can I use my own insoles?

Yes, the insole can be swapped out if you prefer your own.

Keep in mind that a thicker insole raises your foot and takes away some of the ground feel the shoe is built around. It also makes the fit snugger, so size accordingly.

How do I choose the right size?

Order your usual size. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one. Your toes should be able to spread without touching the front.

Each product page has a size guide with the exact measurements for that style, and a few styles note that we recommend going one size up. It is worth a quick look before you order.

Can I return them if they do not fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send them back, provided they are returned in the required condition.

Buying shoes online should not feel like a gamble. Sometimes you simply need to put a pair on your own feet, and we would much rather you end up with shoes you genuinely enjoy wearing.
